Cointiply calls itself “the #1 Bitcoin Rewards Platform.”

The popular website and Android app lets you earn free cryptocurrency by:

  • completing surveys
  • playing games
  • exploring new products and businesses

How much are we talking?

According to Cointiply, the average user earns up to $30 per month.

While this probably isn’t exactly life-changing income, it can be an easy way to get paid for things you might already be doing online.

But does Cointiply really deliver?

In this review, I’ll cover:

  • how Cointiply works
  • different ways to earn
  • tips to maximize your earnings
  • some pros and cons
  • a few Cointiply alternatives

Ready? Let’s do it!

Cointiply
4.1
Free

Earn free Bitcoin completing short online tasks in your spare time.

Cointiply won't replace your day job, but does offer a wide variety of ways to earn free crypto.

Pros:
  • Free to use.
  • Wide variety of ways to earn.
  • Low $3 payout minimum.
Cons:
  • Confusing / overwhelming interface.
  • Low payouts per task.
  • No iOS app.

What is Cointiply?

Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Panama, NY, Cointiply is a next-generation crypto rewards platform.

Users earn free cryptocurrency by interacting and completing tasks. The only requirement is that you have a Bitcoin or DOGE address to send payments to.

Android users can download the free Cointiply app through the Google Play store. Apple users can participate via the mobile-friendly website.

At press time, the Android app was rated 4.3-stars from over 34,000 ratings.

To date, Cointiply has gained over 4.3 million users and paid out more than $12 million worth of Bitcoin.

Is Cointiply Legit?

Yes, Cointiply is a legitimate GPT (get paid to) app that offers the potential to earn real cryptocurrency.

In fact, the company has positioned itself as one of the most well-known and widely trusted crypto faucets on the market.

User reviews are a bit of a mixed bag, but for the most part, the consensus is positive.

In any case, Cointiply is free to sign up and use, so it’s worth giving it a try for yourself.

Who is Eligible for Cointiply?

Cointiply is available to users worldwide.

Some offers may be restricted to specific locations and some surveys and offers are only available in English.

How Does Cointiply Work?

1. Sign up for Cointiply

It’s completely free to sign up and create a Cointiply account. All you need to get started is your email address.

Cointiply has two different account levels:

  • Standard, which is free
  • Premium, which costs 17k coins ($1.70) per month, or 170k ($17) per year

The Premium account comes with an ad-free experience, early access to new features, and other benefits.

For the purpose of this review, I stuck with the Standard account.

2. Choose from a Variety of Tasks and Activities

Personally, I found the Cointiply website overwhelming at first.

There are a bunch of different ways to earn coins, but I recommend beginning with the “Getting Started” guide.

This can be located in the Dashboard dropdown menu and contains a user-friendly list of recommended activities for newbies:

Each item has a convenient hyperlink to help with quick and easy navigation.

There’s also a section with tips on how to boost your earnings as well as where to get help and support.

3. Complete Activities and Get Paid

Once you’ve successfully fulfilled the requirements of a chosen task or activity, you’ll earn coins.

The value of each coin is tied to the dollar and gets converted to satoshis (or the cryptocurrency of your choice) when you cash out.

Currently 10,000 Coins = $1.

Important Note: The crypto value of your Cointiply coins is dynamic. That means when the price of Bitcoin goes up, your coins are worth less sats, if that makes sense.

4. Withdraw

Once you have accumulated the equivalent of $3 (30,000 coins), you can withdraw to your Bitcoin, DOGE, Dash or LTC wallet.

According to the Cointiply site, most active users can reach this threshold within just a few days.

Ways to Earn with Cointiply

Cointiply offers an impressive number of ways to earn coins.

And while some do require an investment, most coin-earning activities are free.

General Rule: The higher the payout, the more investment will be required on your part, either in time, money, or both.

Here are the most popular ways to start racking up your coins balance.

Bitcoin Faucet

Earn free coins by spinning the faucet.

You can come back every hour for a new spin. I earned 22 coins with each spin. (Roughly two tenths of a cent.)

Additionally, if you roll the number you’re assigned, you win the entire jackpot, which at the time of publishing was 307,250 Coins. (Roughly $30.)

Offers

Visit the offer walls to choose from various options for earning coins.

For example, you can:

There are literally thousands of offers to choose from, some of which do require a monetary investment.

Surveys

Cointiply offers surveys from some of the world’s leading market research companies.

You can choose surveys based on the length of time they require as well as how much they pay out (typically $1-$5).

Personally, I attempted to take four different surveys, and was rejected by each one, so my experience with this feature wasn’t that great.

(I had better luck qualifying with Survey Junkie and HeyCash.)

You do earn a small credit even if you don’t qualify, though.

PTC (Paid to Click) Ads

Another easy way to earn coins on Cointiply is to view ads and websites.

You simply click on the link and stay on the site for a specified amount of time (usually between 3-30 seconds).

Once you’ve met the requirement, your account will be credited.

One interesting feature of Cointiply is that you have the option to advertise your own websites to get thousands of visitors.

Let’s take a quick break to do the math on the 25 coins in 30 seconds offer above. That works out to a pretty dismal rate of about $0.30 an hour.

Chat

You can chat with other Cointiply users and earn a share of what’s called the “Rain Pool.”

The Rain Pool is a collection of coins that is fed by site activity. As members earn coins, Cointiply takes a portion of their share and adds it to the Rain Pool.

For each round of the Rain Pool, a random target is picked. When that target is reached, it “rains” and all participants in that round receive a portion of the pool.

Your share of the pool is determined by how many coins you’ve earned and what level you’re on.

To qualify for the rain pool, open the chat and click or tap the “Qualify for Rain Pool” button.

The only requirement is you must have completed at least one offer, PTC ad, or survey for the day.

Games

This section is pretty straightforward: Play fun, quick games and earn coins.

To use this feature, select “Play Games” from the Earn Coins tab, then follow these instructions:

  1. Click the “Start Playing & Earning Button”, which will launch a game window.
  2. Select a game and play as you normally would. (Pro Tip: If you have an ad blocker, be sure to disable it.)
  3. As you play, your activity bar will fill up. Once full, 30 coins will be credited to your account.

Again, as with PTC ads, the total earning potential here is pretty lame.

Quests

Cointiply quests are a great way to earn bonus coins while you complete other tasks on Cointiply.

There are five categories of Quests available to complete:

  1. Cointiply Quests – Related to specific actions and features on the Cointiply app or website.
  2. Earning Quests – Require you to earn a fixed number of coins to complete each Quest.
  3. Offer Quests – Require you to complete a certain number of offers.
  4. Streak Quests – Require you to perform an action for a fixed number of consecutive days in a row.
  5. Bonus Quests – Random activities that don’t unlock in any particular order.

Quests are automatically tracked and unlocked as you complete the requirements. When you complete a Quest the reward can be claimed and the next Quest in that category will automatically unlock.

To use this feature:

  • Desktop: You can find Quests on your dashboard or by clicking on “Quests” in the main menu.
  • Mobile: You can find Quests under the “Daily Free Coins” tab or by viewing your Top Offers tab.

As far as earnings go, each step in a quest is worth a set amount of coins ranging from 20 to just under 1k

Additional Ways to Earn

Promo Codes

From what I can tell, Cointiply does a lot of promotions.

For instance, I received a bonus of 1,000 coins just for signing up, and then I received an email with a promo code the day after I created my account.

They also regularly share codes on X.

Those are only open to a limited number of users, though, so you have to catch them right away and be quick about entering them.

Multiplier

If you’re the gambling kind, the multiplier feature lets you wager some of your coins for a chance to multiply your balance.

You can wager as few as 10 coins, or as many as 50k.

The maximum multiplier is 61x, which means if you wager 10 coins, you could potentially win as much as 613 coins, or as much as 3,065,000 coins ($300,000!) from a 50k wager.

Cointivity Pods, Items, and Boosts

Cointivity is Cointiply’s account leveling and reward point system.

You can use your “CointiPoints” to purchase “pods,” which contain items that let you boost your earnings.

If this sounds confusing, that’s because it is.

I didn’t delve too much into this feature, but it’s still worth mentioning. You can learn more about it here, if you’re so inclined.

Referrals

Cointiply has a solid referral program. You can earn up to 25% of the coins your friends earn when they sign-up through your referral link.

Specifically, you’ll receive:

  • 10% of their offer earning
  • 25% of their faucet earnings

Not too shabby.

Loyalty Bonus

Cointiply rewards members who visit the app or site daily and do one or more of the following:

  • claim from the faucet
  • complete an offer
  • get paid for a video
  • play a game
  • click a PTC Ad

As your loyalty level increases, you’ll be able to earn more as well as unlock new features.

Interest

Once your balance reaches at least 35,000 coins, you can start earning 5% interest.

Additionally, you can send other Bitcoin you own directly to your Cointiply account to earn interest on that as well.

Note: This feature needs to be manually enabled in your account settings.

How Much Can You Make on Cointiply?

The amount you can earn with Cointiply depends on:

  • how much free time you have
  • the number of tasks you complete

According to the website, top users earn hundreds of dollars a month, but that’s not the average.

As with other apps like Cointiply, it takes a significant amount of time to make meaningful money.

On the plus side, there are no fixed limits to how much you can earn with Cointiply.

How to Boost Your Earnings with Cointiply

Keep Your Loyalty Up

Log in regularly and do at least one task. This boosts your loyalty score, which makes the app more lucrative in the long run.

Even if you don’t have a lot of time to commit, you’re sure to find at least one activity that will only take a few seconds.

Be Strategic

Not all tasks or activities will pay the same.

Some may also require an investment.

If you’ve got extra time on your hands, focus on tasks that may take longer but pay more. When time is tight, stick with shorter activities for a small but quick payout.

Daily Spin

Even if you don’t plan on playing games or taking part in any of the tasks, you can still earn coins easily by logging in and spinning the faucet.

(I’m not sure if it’s something that’s temporary or not, since the site says “Daily Spin,” but I’ve noticed my opportunity to spin resets every hour.)

Stay Connected

As mentioned, Cointiply is very active on X, where they frequently share promo codes for free coins.

Be sure to follow them and check back regularly.

I also recommend signing up for emails, as I’ve already received one promo code that way.

Tap Into Resources

Cointiply has a pretty comprehensive support section that has a ton of help and how-to articles.

Their blog seems to be a decent source of guidance as well.

If you’ve got some time, I’d recommend doing some reading. At the very least, I’d start by going through the “Getting Started” section.

Tackle Quests

Quests offer a great way to quickly earn coins without having to invest a ton of effort or time.

I recommend looking through the different types of quests and tackling one or two here or there. Again, you may not earn a ton, but over time it will add up.

Refer Friends

There’s nothing better than passive income, and Cointiply is great for this.

For every new user who signs up through your referral link, you’ll earn up to 25% of their Cointiply earnings.

How Does Cointiply Make Money?

Cointiply generates revenue in a number of ways, including:

  • Display advertising
  • Sponsored promotions
  • Survey campaigns
  • Offer campaigns
  • Exclusive partner campaigns
  • Paid-to-click advertisements

Cointiply Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Free to Use: Cointiply is free to sign up and use, and most tasks and activities don’t require any type of monetary investment—only your time.
  • Variety of Earning Options: There are a ton of ways to earn coins through Cointiply, from playing games to watching ads.
  • Bonuses and Promos: Cointiply seems to offer a lot of promotions and bonuses, including regular faucet spins, email promotions, and promo codes on social media.
  • Robust Resources: Of all the GPT apps I’ve tested, I have to say that Cointiply seems to offer the most comprehensive user resources. Between their help section and blog, as well as regular emails containing tips and tricks, I’m impressed.
  • Earn Interest: If you transfer and hold other crypto in your Cointiply account, you can earn 5% interest on it.
  • Low Withdrawal Threshold: You can withdraw your funds after earning just $3 worth, or 30,000 coins.

Cons

  • No iOS App: Cointiply currently only has an app for Android users. Apple users do have the option to use the website, but it’s still a bummer.
  • Time/Money Commitment: Higher paying tasks and activities tend to either require a significant amount of time to complete, or a monetary investment.
  • Low Payouts: While there are plenty of ways to earn free crypto through Cointiply, unless you devote every spare moment to using the platform, the amount you can earn is minimal.
  • Overwhelming Interface: Perhaps the app is more user-friendly, but I found the Cointiply website to be overwhelming and a bit intimidating.

Is Cointiply Worth It?

Once I finally got comfortable with the interface and started navigating my way around, I found the Cointiply site to be fun and engaging.

The loyalty bonus and opportunity to spin the faucet every hour also kept me coming back for more.

Bottom line: If you’ve got some spare time and are interested in earning some free crypto, Cointiply is an excellent option.

Cointiply Alternatives

It seems like there are more and more money making apps hitting the market every day—including those that pay in crypto.

Cointiply’s main claim to fame is the chance to earn free Bitcoin. If the price of BTC continues to appreciate, that could improve your effective hourly rate from Cointiply.

On the other hand, if you want more Bitcoin, you might be better off just earning more money elsewhere and buying the crypto on your own.

Still, if you like the idea of earning from an app, here are a few others that might be worth a look.
