Is Snakzy Legit? Earn $450/mo Playing Mobile Games

Snakzy is a “play-to-earn” mobile app that lets you earn money by trying out mobile games and completing milestones. 

According to site, some of the app’s most dedicated users are raking in anywhere from $1,700-$2,500 per month.

That said, the average earnings for non-power users is actually around $15 a day, which still translates to roughly $450 a month.

That’s not chump change (especially in this economy).

Let’s take a closer look at Snakzy and see if it’s worth the early hype.

What is Snakzy?

Snakzy is an app that pays you gift cards to play mobile games. Launched in 2024, Snakzy is owned and developed by Eneba, a gaming marketplace based in Vilnius, Lithuania. 

Since then, Snakzy has garnered over 2.6 million total downloads and paid out over $1,200,000 to successful users.

How Does Snakzy Work?

You can get started with Snakzy earning by downloading the app or signing up via the Snakzy website. 

At press time, the Snakzy app is only available for Android devices. An iOS app is in development to launch in late 2026.

(In the meantime, Apple users can still use Snakzy through their web interface … but it’s definitely lacking compared to the mobile version.)

Earning Coins

Coins are the main in-app currency in Snakzy.

You’ll earn them by:

• Playing games
• Completing tasks
• Unlocking achievements

The more you play, the more coins you can potentially earn.

New users also get a small head-start with a 5,000-coin welcome bonus (worth $5), which is helpful since the minimum to cashout is a hefty 35,000 coins.

Once you’re signed up, you can choose from 120+ offers that pay up to $125.

Each game has mini goals that let you cash out instantly during gameplay, with cashouts ranging from $5 to $25.

You’ll be able to see:

• detailed milestone requirements for each game
• level targets
• playtime requirements
• exact coin payouts

This makes it much easier to decide if a particular offer is actually worth the time investment.

Initially, you’re provided with 5 empty slots which you can fill with whichever 5 games you’d like.

When you see a game you want to try, simply click the “Accept” button and go through the process of installing it onto your device.

Important: Make sure you’re not using a VPN.

Once all your “Empty Game Slots” are filled, you’re limited to playing only those games and earning only those rewards.

(You can unlock 5 additional slots/games, but you have to use your coins to do so.)

The games are relatively easy to play, like puzzles and slots, though there were a couple of strategy games. Most users should be able to find something that piques their interest.

Per Snakzy, “the more offers you complete, the better the deals get.” In other words, the more time and effort you invest, the more coins you can earn.

Boosters

A Booster is a special feature in Snakzy that increases the number of coins you can earn during a specified window of time (e.g. 15 minutes or 1 hour).

You can activate Boosters from the app whenever they’re available. Some Boosters are free, while you unlock others by completing tasks or reaching milestones.

Only one Booster can be active at a time.

Streaks/Freezes

Snakzy rewards your consistency with the “streaks” feature, which tracks the number of consecutive days you play.

You’ll earn additional rewards for maintaining your streak. The first streak reward is unlocked after either 3 or 5 consecutive days of play, with additional rewards becoming available after 5 or 7 days.

You also have the option to “freeze” your streak in the event that you miss a day. Streak freezes are available at random, or they can be purchased. Each freeze is good for one missed day of play.

Need a little extra motivation? The mobile app allows you to set daily goals and milestone tracking. This makes it easier to monitor your progress toward larger payouts.

VIP Status

Another way to boost your earnings with Snakzy is by achieving VIP status. This is done when you buy an eligible offer in the VIP section of the app.

As a VIP, you’ll receive:

• +33% more coins on eligible games
• A one-time boost of 2,000 bonus coins 
• Access to exclusive payout options

VIP status isn’t permanent, but you’ll have the option to renew before it expires.

Bonuses & Limited-Time Contests

Snakzy also features a Bonus Page where users can participate in:

• extra earning opportunities.

These events rotate periodically and offer extra coins or exclusive rewards for active users.

How Do Payouts Work on Snakzy?

One of Snakzy’s best features is its extensive range of payout options, which includes gift cards, in-game currency, and tons of other products.

Gift cards are available for a wide variety of popular restaurants, retailers, and service providers, including:

In fact, the reported “100,000+” cashout options is definitely the most we’ve seen from an app like this.

You can also transfer coins to your Eneba wallet. From there, you can redeem them for gift cards, in-game currency, and more.

Minimum Payout

You have to earn at least 35,000 coins ($35) before you can cash out on Snakzy. Individual redemption prices vary based on your region, but are usually between $5 and $25.

Is Snakzy Legit?

Yes, Snakzy is legit, but user experience varies widely.

As an iOS mobile user, I didn’t love the web app experience. In my Android testing, I found it easy to use and agree with the 4-star consensus on Google Play:

The most common complaint about Snakzy is the high cashout threshold. Some users report that the minimum has been raised over time without notice.

Tips for Making Money with Snakzy

Here are few more tips for maximizing your earnings with Snakzy.

Use it as a Time-Filler

The more active you are with Snakzy, the more you’ll earn, so whenever you have free time, pull up a game or two and play a few rounds. At least you’ll be using your spare time to actually earn something.

Stick to Games You Actually Enjoy

If you force yourself to play games you don’t like just because the payout is bigger, you’ll probably burn out pretty quickly.

Choosing games you’d play anyway makes it feel less like work and helps you stay committed long enough to cash out.

Be Consistent

The best way to get the most out of Snakzy is to use it consistently.

Not only will you earn streak rewards for doing so, but you’ll also routinely level up, which will unlock additional rewards and exclusive content.

Take Advantage of In-App Features

Boosters are another great way to increase your earnings, so be on the lookout for those. 

Save Bigger Tasks for Boosters

Speaking of boosters, I’d recommend saving larger milestones for when a Booster is active. Timing your gameplay around bonus earning windows can help you rack up coins significantly faster.

Be Careful Unlocking Extra Slots

While unlocking additional game slots may sound tempting, it’s worth considering whether the extra earning potential justifies the use of coins.

Focusing on a smaller number of high-value offers may actually be a more strategic approach.

How Much Can You Earn with Snakzy?

The amount you can make with Snakzy will ultimately depend on:

• how often you use the app
• how many games you can realistically play at a time
• how many goals/milestones you’re able to achieve

The website says you can earn up to $2,500 a month, but I think their average daily earnings of around $15 is far more realistic.

How Does Snakzy Make Money?

Like other GPT apps, Snakzy earns referral commissions from game developers when you start new games and complete in-game milestones.

Snakzy then shares a portion of this revenue with you.

Snakzy Pros & Cons

Pros

• Free to Use: Snakzy is completely free to use.
• Smart Limits: At first, being limited to installing 5 (or 10) games at a time may seem restrictive. But with only so many hours in a day, this cap actually helps prevent overkill and keeps you focused on maximizing your earning potential.
• Payout Options: 100,000+ payout options is a pretty impressive number, especially compared to other apps.
• Additional Earnings: Boosts and streaks help accelerate your earnings.
• Instant Progress Tracking: The app does a good job of showing your coin balance, streaks, milestones, and earning progress. This makes it easier to stay motivated and track whether your effort is paying off.

Cons

• No iOS App: An Apple version of Snakzy is in development, but in the meantime, you’re probably better off with a different app that pays you to play games.
• Offer Limitations: Some of the offers have stringent requirements that make it difficult to earn the advertised maximum.
• Time Consuming: To earn anything substantial, you have to dedicate a decent amount of time to completing the various milestones and tasks.
• No Referral Program: Unlike similar apps, Snakzy doesn’t currently offer any kind of incentive to refer your friends.
• High Payout Threshold: With a minimum of 35,000 coins before you can cash out, reaching this threshold can be challenging for many users.

Is Snakzy Worth It?

For people who enjoy playing mobile games, Snakzy is a great way to earn some cash just by doing what you’d normally do.

While you probably won’t get rich, it’s definitely worth checking out. And since Snakzy is free to sign up and use, you really have nothing to lose.
